Connecting with the community is a core value at ImOn Communications.  “We don’t think of ourselves as just a service provider,” says Patrice Carroll, CEO of ImOn.  “We are neighbors and friends.  As such, we feel a responsibility to help make our community a great place to live, work and play.”   

One way ImOn does that in Iowa City is by providing free community Wi-Fi in the pedestrian mall.  Whether attending an event in the mall or just patronizing the local shops and businesses, Iowa City residents and visitors can take advantage of access to free public Wi-Fi to enhance their experience.

In addition to public Wi-Fi for residents, ImOn also supports local entrepreneurship by providing high speed fiber Internet service with Wi-Fi access in Merge, a coworking space and hub for innovation in Iowa City.  “One very important aspect of supporting our communities is helping to drive economic development,” says Ms. Carroll.  “Merge is doing great things to support entrepreneurship and we are proud to partner with them.”
