Big Picture Big Picture Gallery and Studio was founded by Ms. Becky Popelka in 2017. In the fall of 2023 Ms. Popelka made the difficult decision to return to teaching in the public schools and sell Big Picture. Adam and Allison Gent, who have had children attend classes since the studio opened, purchased the studio and are continuing the work of bringing art to our community. There are many valuable lessons our children learn through art- such as working through mistakes, problem solving, celebrating the differences of others, and building a natural confidence in themselves. Art is healing for those struggling. Art brings feelings of joy, accomplishment, and appreciation. Art is a way to bring out the best versions of ourselves.
Our mission is to continue offering a fun and uplifting place in our community for people to gather, learn, and be creative. We plan to give back to our community through donations, volunteering, and by offering new opportunities. Our classes are available for preschool all the way to adults, and we happily host birthday parties as well as other special events.
We would love to see you at one of our classes or events!
"Stress free toddler birthday! Painting, pizza, and presents! What more could a mother ask for, lol! Amy and Becky did a fantastic job making our son's birthday extra special. We did a dinosaur themed party and the ceramics the boys were able to paint were just adorable. I will cherish these memories forever and will definitely be doing a party here again. Price was great and there was no mess at the house! Absolutely stress free." - Stephany C.
"Big Picture Gallery & Studio is a family friendly environment. Becky is a wonderful artist, and is amazing with kids! I highly recommend this place to parents, kids and even adults who ware interested in learning how to paint." - Nicole N.
