Booking and Arrival
Virtual Ventures operates on an appointment-only basis, so sessions must be booked in advance. Upon arrival, staff will check you in and give an overview of available games and options—whether it's for a birthday party, team-building event, or a day of immersive VR fun.
Safety Orientation
Before stepping into VR, every player goes through a brief safety orientation. This covers the basics of VR gameplay, how to stay within the designated play area, and how to interact safely with other players. Safety is a priority, and understanding the physical boundaries helps enhance the experience.
Getting Equipped
Players receive a VR headset and controllers with inside-out tracking, which means no external sensors are needed. Tracking markers on the walls and floors help keep the experience smooth and accurate.
Each player also wears a bHaptic X16 shockvest, which vibrates to simulate impacts during gameplay. These vests don’t shock the player, but add immersion by creating tactile feedback.
Entering the Virtual World
Equipped with a headset, controllers, and shockvest, players step into the VR play area, ready to be transported into another world. Movements are mirrored inside the game, whether it’s a survival mission, an escape room, or a laser tag match. Players move freely and naturally thanks to inside-out tracking.
Gameplay and Interaction
Players interact by moving physically and using controllers to simulate hand gestures. The VR library includes multiplayer games, escape rooms, and combat simulations. The shockvests enhance realism, vibrating on impact and creating a sense of presence.
Escape Rooms: Solve puzzles and work as a team to break out.
Combat/Survival: Fend off enemies—every hit is felt through the vest.
Laser Tag & Multiplayer: Collaborate or compete in active group-based games.
Shared Space & Team Play
Virtual Ventures uses a shared-space VR setup, where multiple players interact in the same physical area. Inside-out tracking ensures seamless motion.
Players can see each other as avatars, communicate, and collaborate, making it ideal for social gaming and group experiences.
End of the Session
When the session ends, players remove their equipment, including the VR headset, controllers, and shockvest and proceed back out to the main lobby area.
