Our story began with Rebecca, a passionate real estate professional who started her career in Houston, TX, in 1979. After moving to Tyler in 1997, she brought her expertise in residential sales, farms and ranches, corporate relocation, foreclosures, estates, new construction, and investment properties. Her dedication to clients and personal touch became the foundation of our business.

Rebecca’s love for real estate led her to found The Burks Team, a family-centered business built on the belief that every client should be treated like family. Alongside her was Danny, a visionary leader who joined her in real estate in 1994 and transitioned full-time in 2002, officially establishing The Burks Team. Under his leadership, the team flourished, selling over 6,000 homes across East Texas and launching the successful Crosspointe Management Group.

Today, our family legacy continues with our sons, Ben, Zach, and Aaron, each bringing their own strengths and passions. Ben, a Texas A&M graduate, began working in real estate at just 14 and has since become an accomplished agent and investor. Zach, with a background in business marketing and advertising, brings creativity and a client-first mindset to our marketing and service efforts. Aaron combines his accounting and IT expertise to keep our operations running seamlessly. Zach’s wife, Michaela, adds her skill in market analysis and negotiations, rounding out our team’s diverse talents.
